Embracing the Struggle: A Musician’s Battle Between Thinking and Feeling

My Feelings

Today’s session was a bit of a struggle for me. I felt out of sync, caught in a battle between my brain and my emotions. I aimed to turn off my mind and play purely from the moment, but my usual playing habits held me back. It was a war between thinking and feeling. I wanted to achieve a flow, but it didn’t come easily. Harmonical and rhythmical mistakes kept pulling me out of the zone, reminding me that improvisation isn’t easy. Still, I pushed through and kept playing.

What are your thoughts on embracing the struggle? Let’s discuss in the comments.

This melody is wonderful, very nice. I really do like it.
It ‘s a big goal – to free your mind, be out of mind control and play in flow.
    I think you’re doing great.
A little more practice and all goes well 🙂
